A Survey showed that more than 1 in 3 pregnant women think they need to eat 300 or more extra calories every day. And 61 per cent think they need to start eating the extra calories in the first or second trimester..

It is a myth that a pregnant woman must “eat for two.” Although pregnancy increases the body’s need for calories and nutrition, the amounts of calories or specific nutrients you need are NOT doubled..

You should just add extra 300- 350 Kcal in your Daily diet..otherwise it will cause excessive weight gain which can lead to serious health issues both in Mommies and their unborn Babies..!!
