At this age is a great age to start experimenting and this includes food! it’s a great time for parents to really focus in on helping their child develop healthy eating habits.
Children of this age use a lot of energy throughout their day, but their stomachs can’t hold enough food to keep hunger at bay between meals. It can be difficult for parents to think “on their feet” what to give a hunger toddler when they’re demanding something to eat asap!
Nutrition for 1-5 year old’s is a lot of fun they are at an age of exploration and the dinner table can become their new frontiers. The aim is to ensure that the young child has plenty of different choices of flavours, textures and colours in their food.
